Jean-Marc Vedrune, Director of Card Payments at La Banque Postale, has been appointed President of FrenchSys, effective October 1, 2025. He succeeds Jean-Daniel Gries, who had served as President of FrenchSys since 2023.

A subsidiary of CB-investments (CBi), FrenchSys facilitates multi scheme payment acquiring and acceptance in France. FrenchSys serves acquirers, card schemes, manufacturers, and digital payment processors.
Jean-Marc Vedrune is highly attuned to hands-on, field-level challenges and maintains close relationships with the corporate and merchant community. As Director of Card Payments at La Banque Postale since 2017, he is responsible for card issuance, merchant acquiring, acceptance, e-commerce, payment security, and ATMs. He also brings 18 years of extensive experience in the payments field from another major French banking institution, Crédit Mutuel Alliance Fédérale, and previously worked for other leading banking groups in France and internationally.

Jean-Marc Vedrune stated: "I would like to thank Jean-Daniel Gries for transforming FrenchSys into a key player within the French card payments landscape. He successfully established a new strategic roadmap for FrenchSys, completed the company's organizational, operational, and security consolidation, and positioned FrenchSys within the French market at the center of the payment ecosystem comprising acquirers, card schemes, manufacturers, processors, and payment transaction partners. I am delighted to take over the presidency of FrenchSys and to oversee the future developments of the company, which operates in a crucial field, particularly during this period of intense technological proliferation."
